Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Just in from shoveling 7" or so off the deck. Some coffee in the Henry mug, then it's back out to clear the North side roof. If I don't, it'll melt, drip and make Curling quality ice on the deck all next week, when it warms up.

we are currently camped north of Houston .... last night we received a text stating that a leak in the campground water system had been found .... to repair it the water would be shutoff around 8AM and they projected it being off for a couple of hours .... based on that notification we filled our camper's fresh water tank .... sometime before daylight thunderstorms moved in and heavy rain is still coming down .... as expected the water was turned off (still is) .... I'd sure hate to have the job of trying to dig up and repair the leak .. .. its a really good morning to sip an extra couple of cups of coffee and watch the Western Channel ..

Yeah, seems we've been getting a lot of rain lately. I didn't go to the range this week because I knew it would be a muddy mess. I was hoping it would be dry today but that's not going to happen. Don't know where you are north of Houston but if you'd like to get together and meet somewhere in between let me know.

Snow again in forecast. All next week too. Mountains of it piled everywhere now. Running out of places to put it. Tea time.

37° and sunny, although we are supposed to be facing 3 days of -10°F and snow ...... I'm guessing that would be quite tropical for RanchRoper!

I think RR helps this thread to keep going. We all look for his report so we can pick on him. All in fun of course. Suppose to come up a notch this week here in the Tropical part of the Rockies. Mid 40's all week and warmer for the weekend up coming. Im not going to mention a chance to go shooting yet as if I do the weather woman will change it on me.

Low 30's next couple of days. Then a week of snow again. After that get the hip waders out....March looks like lots of rain.

35 f going to 55 f. It's going to be a sunny, nice day for the near end of February. Coffee is in the Smith and Wesson mug.

In the low 30s to start the morning... but supposed to warm up to a balmy 60 degrees and NO rain predicted. Rain again tomorrow.

60 mph winds with blowing snow warning. Tea in go cup. Temp is 25F.

Geesh! I think I could stand the 25 but not the 60. That would drive me nuts. It's a mild day here...almost like Spring. Just wish the rain would stop for a bit.

It's crazy nice here, for March 1. Sunny, calm, high of 40f. But it's March 1, meaning a foot plus of slushy melting snow on the ground, ice where it melted and refroze last night. March is the cruelest month .

Cooled off a bit last night. It won't be as warm today. It's windy though with gusts to around 25....nothing like there is in RanchRoper's territory.
