Got my first Henry as a Christmas gift. Ive always wanted one and my girlfriend surprised me with it. Sadly had to send it back for repairs.

Welcome aboard Bill, Your girlfriend is pretty special getting you a Henry. Does she have a sister? I could use a new Henry, just kidding I am very happily married and wouldn't trade her for....... Well maybe a Henry Original. :lol:

Thanks everyone for the welcomes. And I'm not worried at all about it. Everything I read is great about the company. The problem was after 300 rounds it got very stiff and even felt like metal on metal grinding. Watched the online videos for maintenance, cleaned it and oiled appropriately. After working the action 20 or so times the stuffness returned. I've drooled over this Golden boy for two months not knowing I had one at my girlfriends house. So it's shipped and heading back for repairs. Now I know what it feels like to send a child of to school or camp for the first time. Lol
