Minus 8 wonderful degrees here in SE Ohio. Would love to relocate to a much warmer location. Arizona is looking better and better!

It's 5 f going to 20 f. It's supposed to be sunny and clear today. Not so tomorrow.

Coffee is in the Henry mug this morning and it is good.

Eight degrees. Coldest winter I can remember, and we are just getting started.
Hot coffee in the mug, and the regular morning routine. The ms. and I both checking our forums on the tablets and sharing interesting tidbits as we drink our coffee before we start the day. Ms. Tina will be finishing a "lovey" cuddle for a newborn. I will, of course, be working on the OK box.

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

-6 this morning, a veritable heat wave compared to the recent past. And maybe 22 above by the weekend.

Well, this is something we rarely see in Charleston. There is an inch or two of snow on the ground and the temps are in the mid 20s.

It's supposed to keep coming down until about 8:00 tonight. We get enough snow to stick maybe every 4 or 5 years. A big snow is perhaps once a decade. Not sure I'll make it to work tonight. All the bridges and many overpasses are closed right now and it's only getting worse.

didn't it start as rain/sleet which has left a layer of ice under the snow .. :?: .. that's pretty much what we are expecting around here

Yep. Ya'll are supposed to get hit harder than we are. I went out and measured it about an hour ago. It was around 4 inches. The weather station a few miles from me was reporting 7 inches. Maybe if the first couple inches didn't melt.

The main difference here is that we don't have the infrastructure set up to handle snow and ice. A couple inches and the city shuts down. When I lived in Omaha, a snow like this would hardly show up on the radar. Of course, they had snow plows and salt and everyone was used to it. Heck, I don't even worry too much about an ice scraper in my car. I use a card from my wallet if I don't have one handy in the car. It's rare to have that thick crust of ice on the windshield. It's usually just a thin coating.

18 f and snow coming. Gonna be a cold one tonight.

Coffee in the Smith and Wesson mug this morning then off to work. Enjoy your day and tell us about it over an adult evening beverage of your choice.

The storm in CT was just officially declared a Blizzard. I'm expecting 8-12" of snow today, with winds gusting to 60 mph and temps starting in the teens and falling to near zero overnight. We're all just hoping we don't lose power.

Miss Evelyn and I spent the night in the new teardrop parked in her driveway. The furnace sure took care of the 30 degree temperature outside. Coffee on the sofa made the morning wakeup more enjoyable.
