When my wagon comes in , since I don't have a ship, I want to add a stainless SA Ruger Single Six.

Great idea, but you should make it a Ruger Single ten instead - here's one with a pair of Henry 22's:

Really like that Single 10, but the Henry's are pretty nice also.

I have a friend who has a Colt Frontier Scout 22 with some of the bluing worn. I want to make an offer ,and be fair for both parties. He hasn't priced it to me yet, just curious on some thoughts on price. I believe it was made in the 70's. Thanks.

A Frontier Scout in excellent condition is usually a $450 to $500 dollar gun, unless it's a commemorative or special edition that attracts attention from Colt Collectors and they you'll pay MUCH more. Deduct as needed for wear and tear. These ran in various series from 1957 to 1971.

Make sure it's a Frontier Scout, though. A lot of people get these Colt SA rimfire model names mixed up. The later Colt rimfires SAs were steel framed case-colored frames and built closer in size to a full size Colt SA (the Scouts were 7/8 sized frames). The New Frontier was the adjustable sight model and the Peacemaker was the standard Colt SA gutter sight. These were 70s guns and usually command a higher price, usually around $700.

Lastly, there was a version of the New Frontier re-introduced for a few years in the 80s. It had a funky safety incorporated into the loading gate. It was functional enough, but value-wise, it doesn't command much of a price. Don't overpay for one of these.

Not sure if you saw this in the reviews; might not be an issue for you. I have never seen this brand before. I'm always on the lookout for bulk 45 Colt in Canada.


This ammo works great in my Ruger New Vaquero revolver. However, my 1860 Henry rifle (Uberti replica) does not like it because of the lip around the bottom of the lead. It does not feed at all into that rifle. Just something to be aware of.

Are you sure those are micarta grip . I've never seen micarta like that from Ruger . In my pic is the micarta ruger's grip . Your grip look like wood Laminate Grip from Ruger .
