Glad to see you here, NH. I know we will always get quality comments from you. Wait, was that "quality" or "quantity". Either way, still glad you found this forum. :)

I stopped posting in one very large firearms forum because the minefield got out of control and people were being banned left and right. Even the jokes got out of control. Dave and I talked about it and we didn't want the problems it created so instead of banning members we banned the minefield.

Sure seems like a good idea because we haven't had a single problem here.

Smart way to go about it. I have no desire for a Minefield.

They can be trouble. 303/Sir Henry had to buy his own forum to keep himself out of hot water. :)

Its great to be a king. Wait the peasants overthrew me and I was demoted from royalty to nobility. I came close to getting a dishonorable discharge on one forum. That Hoardpilers International was just plain trouble.

SH, this is off topic but since you brought it up, I believe I know the forum you are referring to and someone just posted this yesterday:
"I haven't seen any post by 303Litghow lately!"

Several people, including Neon Horse responded. My response was:
"His wit and humor are just as biting as ever and he is still posting pictures of his teardrop trailer. It is just that he is king of the Henry rifles, or at least he is a legend in his own mind! Come to think of it, he is "Sir" Henry so I guess he is just a noble and not king."

So, you are missed there by a few old-timers.

That said, I totally agree with not having a Minefield here. I really would rather talk about pleasant things (guns/reloading/the weather) than politics or other topics that just get my blood pressure up.
