Post by RetiredSeabee » Sat Apr 16, 2016 9:16 pm

Yep I pulled the trigger on buying a new lever action ink pen.
I found this on Etsy and had to have it.

Maybe you can use it to compete in Cowboy Action Writing. You don't live in a state that has a ten word restriction on pens?

A clever lever....neat!

Does the cartridge eject when you run out of ink?!?
And if you reload the cartridge, would you please post a picture of your press?!?

That's about all the points I can think of at this late hour....

Very nice, is the barrel on yours bone or antler? Mine is made from 200 year old barn wood according to the maker. It came from Dricker Woodworking in Pennsylvania.

I think it was antler. Another forum I am on, which escapes me now, had a member who was showing one off. I contacted him and he put me in touch with the maker. I bought one for me and one for my stepson. I really like it, but rarely use it.

The pens are really cool-looking, Gentlemen.

I wonder if they make them in revolvers or shotguns, too?!? ;)

I have seen a bunch on Etsy made from different types of bone and antler. And just about every wood that grows.
This one will definitely be a desk pen, it is heavier than I like to carry. If I can find a pencil to go with it would be nice.

I like pen and pencil sets. If you find a pencil, just be careful if your leveraction leads up the barrel.
