Dec 7th 1985

Post by RanchRoper » Thu Dec 07, 2017 8:52 pm

I got married to my wife Cynthia. 32 years ago tonight. Took a horse and wagon to a little candlelit church full of family and friends. Fisherville Church, built in the 1800's. Just as we started our vows, the minister slurred his words, eyes rolled back in his head, and he keeled over. I caught him, my dad leaped over a pew and helped me. We sat him down, gave him some water and he finished the whole deal sitting in a kitchen chair in front of us. Turns out he had the flu.

Congrats, at least the date is easy to remember. Lol.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
