Bingo .... the Snowy Mountain Range found just west of Laramie .... many folks are aware that Denver is nicknamed the Mile High City because its official elevation is exactly one mile (5280 feet ) ..... at the same time, many find it very surprising Laramie's altitude is 7,165 feet .... in short, its down hill from Laramie to Denver ... :D
