Storing Rifle in Truck

Post by Shakey Jake » Thu Nov 16, 2017 7:56 pm

I've got a Silverado 2500 truck with the extended cab. I was thinking about rigging something up to store a rifle under the back seat. It would be out of sight that way and, if I needed, handy to get a hold of fairly quickly. I was looking for something online and all I have found so far are the storage boxes that fit under the seat. I was thinking about something I could just strap the rifle under the seat in a way as to be safe, sturdy, and not scratch the rifle up a lot. Anyone have suggestions?

Check out Tuffy security products. I have their vault for my center console. I just showed a friend at work who got an F150 Platinum. I think he's going to get one too. They have good stuff that really works.

When I had my Ford Ranger, with a bench seat... do they still have those? I had seat covers on the seats. Across the front of the seat was a rifle case built into the cover. I kept a 12 gauge in the case... 8 rounds of tactical buck alternating with slugs. But at the time, I was working with Juvenile drug dealers... I kinda needed the extra backup to the 45. LOL. :P

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
