Still, some days at the range can be much better than others. Today was not a particularly good one. It was a coming together of several factors. A dark, damp day. No Packers game. Hunting season is near.
So, the range was filled with shooters who make a guy really nervous, and who need to be watched every minute of their time on the firing line.
I only got to shoot about 30 or 40 rounds from my friend’s awesome Model 41 .22 pistol. I did shoot a penny at 25 yards, which was good. Still, it really is true that bad day at the range is better than a good day at work.
