IF it performs as advertised, I can see it being an asset

I have the manual one. I find that for the quantities I trim, the manual quick trim fits the bill quite well. I really like the fact that I don't have to do additional steps of chamfering the inside and outside of the cases.

Looks good. I use the worlds finest trimmers for mine. But I also have a forester trimmer that I have set up with power to trim it works good. I hate trimming cases but with these tools it has reduced the disliking of doing it.

the difference in the price of the manual handle and the power trimmer is about $9 .... I just went back and read the Amazon reviews (there are tons of them on both the manual and power trimmers) .... as I guess one should expect, for precision work, the manual trimmer seems to clearly produce the best results .... for high burn range ammo, the power trimmer appears to do just fine .... with the small cost difference, I can see ordering both

High Burn range ammo. Trim, reload, = time= $$$$. Im thinking anymore since 223 is so cheap I just about can buy it cheaper along with 9mm than I can take the time to reload it. Gives me more shooting time. JMHO. Al

if I only loaded a few calibers, that would probably be with I would order .... it looks like a very good system

our oldest son has come to the same conclusion .... he does save his brass and if/when the day should come that he decides to reload 223 or 9mm, he'll never have to buy more casings .... researching case trimmers has been interesting .... I had no clue there were so many different options available .... there are certainly better trimmers on the market but because of a combination of price and the volume of positive evaluations on various sites I've decided to give the Lee trimmers a chance ....

I used a hand crank Lee Quick Trim for trimming 30-30 cases. When it worked it was great. There is a learning curve and constant maintenance if your trimming many cases.
In the end the short and uneven chamfered shells got the best of me and I went to Lyman EzTrim system with a small dell. Same for chamfering.
Pretty Ez and I don't have to think to much about it.

a little while ago I tested the Lee power case trimmer on 3 308 casings and 3 44 Mag casings .... the case in the middle of the front row was not trimmed .... sorry, the picture is about as clear as my camera can produce .... a slight bevel can be seen cut into the 3 surrounding cases .... right in front some thin brass shavings can be seen .... the trimmer sure makes a fine cut .... granted, I've only used it on 6 casings but so far, so good

the more I use the Lee Power Quick Trim Case Trimmer, the more convinced I become that it is a good system and it is quickly becoming a valued addition to our reloading tools .... my camera isn't the best but collectively I think the pictures below do show the brass trimmed from 23 308 casings that was collected inside the trimmer die .... I see following the directions, spending time learning/practicing, and using an appropriate power (drill or screwdriver) are keys to successfully using the trimmer
