This isn't the actual box frame for the rear box. Just quick a pine prototype to work out the kinks. One issue I found so far. The box needs to mount approximately 1.5 inches away from the back of the seat. If not, the box lid will not open all the way. Two of the three boxes need staining and lettering. Still, need to build cradles for them to sit in. After that, design/build/install the rifle rack. This project should be finished next week.

Very nice. I like the idea of the sled for the gear. Creative.

Very sharp-looking wood sled, ChuckCook. And I agree with your comment earlier about "no wheels." Will be interested to learn what you finally do after your field test.

That sure looks great. Very nice work. Next time you go to a shoot, we need a photograph of you and the cart together.

Thanks Dave! I'm tweaking a few little things. I'll try and get a photo at the next match.

Great looking cart. I like the "prototype" box. Nice joints. What did you use to cut them? I have found that lot of dado blades don't leave a nice flat bottom. Never had the spare $ to invest in a box joint blade. Had mixed results with a router table jig.
Great persona and costume. All you need now is a dog/wolf.

There is, I think, humor here which does not translate well from English to sanity. - Sanya

The Dog Sled gun cart is finished and so is my RNWMP persona. My last uniform item returned home a few days ago from Regian, SK. I sent the boots to Royal Spurs for a makeover. They added a pair of correct Spurs/leather, permanent side lacing, blocked and double soled the boots. Now it's time to burn powder and heat up the Henry!

JEBar, Thanks. I haven't worn it or used the dog sled at a SASS/CAS match yet. I'll let you know after I do.
