New member from Florida
Hi everyone,
I'm a long time firearms enthusiast but new to both Henry rifles and lever guns in general. I found the forums here through a search and saw how knowledgeable the members were and wanted to join for the opportunity to learn and share my experiences.
My first Henry is the all weather .45-70 which I just picked up yesterday. I've been reading though the previous discussions here on scope choices and found it incredibly useful.
Besides firearms I enjoy SCUBA diving, classic cars, and travel.

Hey Groo! Welcome. I love your choice of the Henry All Weather! My next Henry.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Welcome from the Show-Me- State, Groo.
Agree with Cofisher that the Henry All Weather is a sharp-looking rifle. Very recently I shot my son's-in-law Henry CCH .45-70 for the first time, and it is most cool
to handle and shoot. I'm certain you will enjoy yours -- have fun!

Welcome from Virginia. I GREW up in FL Groo... all over the darn state. I lived in the Keys, the Everglades, Tampa, Gainesville, and the Panhandle, and everywhere in between. I lived in one town so small they changed the population on the welcome sign when someone moved in or out, was born.. or died. The Principle and his wife taught ALL the kids in the school. She taught K - 6th in one room and HE taught 7 - 12 in another. His mom and aunt were the cafeteria ladies AND the school nurse and janitors.
(The food was GREAT and there was plenty every single day.) We moved to VA my sophomore year.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Thanks for the welcome, Les. I had an opportunity to spend a week or so in Runcorn and Liverpool last year for work. I really enjoyed the area. Do you have a chance to shoot much there? I understand it is challenging.Les wrote:Hi Groo .... welcome to the Forum from Runcorn, UK!

No minions. I think Pixar's character was Gru. I stole my screen name from a Sergei Aragones character.Cofisher wrote:Do you have minions?

Thanks, BrokenolMarine. I've lived in almost every area of the state except the Keys. I need to find a new photo hosting service, I killed my FB account and gave up on photobucket a few years back. Any suggestions?BrokenolMarine wrote:Welcome from Virginia. I GREW up in FL Groo... all over the darn state. I killed facebook years ago as well, and everyone's photobucket kicked the bucket. You can drag and drop pics into your posts and scroll down to the bottom of the page... click on insert after it loads.
You can drop a group, then click to insert one at a time as needed. Don't need a host.

But... don't use quick reply if you want to add images, click on the red post reply bar in the lower left of the thread...
Otherwise.. no joy in Whoville.
