Official Sunrise/Sunset Thread
Re: Official Sunrise/Sunset Thread
I was breaking camp as the sun rose this morning. This is a shot of Mount Elbert, the highest peak in Colorado. I will be fishing locally for a few hours and then heading home. I hope you all have a great day.
And no Gene, I do not climb or hike. Unless there is a really good fishing hole at the end of the hike.

Not a bad Texas night around the old chuckwagon drinking Arbuckles' coffee!

Great photo. Pour me a tin mug of Arbuckles while I unsaddle my horse. Thanks Pard.

We did a big 2 day cattle drive years ago for Alberta centennial. Pulled a chuckwagon. Good times.

I'm sure you had a great adventure. Camping around the wagon at night is truly stepping back in time.

I saved each image to my computer. When I opened them they appeared exactly as they did in your post, one upside down, the other sideways. I rotated them in to their proper orientation, then uploaded them into this post. As you can see, they are properly oriented.
I think the problem may be explained by the position (orientation) of your Samsung phone when you snapped them. Of course, that's just a guess. Do some experimenting to test it.

Re: Official Sunrise/Sunset Thread
I've had that happen with my Samsung phone also, the phone probably puts some info on the photo so it knows what the phone's orientation was when the photo was taken that the computer can't read.
