Southern Oregon, new Henry owner, just received my Henry Frontier long barrel. I'm really looking toward to getting out with it. The 24" barrel has got to make this thing a tack driver. I'm just getting back into shooting after laying off since 1970. Teaching two of my grandsons how to shoot. I'm thinking of putting a marble tang sight on my rifle, might make it easier for these old eyes to get the proper sight picture, anyone have experience with them?

Welcome to the forum from CT. You're going to love that rifle, and I'm sure you'll hear from folks who use that marbles tang sight...and some others, as well. Glad you joined the conversation. You've got some lucky grandsons.

Welcome from the Shenandoah Valley.
I just picked up a Henry Frontier 24" myself, and intend to go with a Skinner rimfire receiver sight on the rear and a Lyman Globe on the front. I've got a marbles tang sight on a Winchester 1885(falling block action) that works well, but I like a Skinner peep on the receiver with the lever guns - don't have to worry about racking the bolt into the tang and they are more durable.

Welcome from the Ojai Valley in California.
I'm partial to Williams Reciever target sights, have them on three Henrys.

Welcome from Colorado. Ive used the marbles sights but I think if I were to do another sight now after seeing skinners sights on another gun I have I would really look hard at a skinner sight. Al

Welcome from VA... I second the Skinner peep .. I added one to my 357 Henry, Perfect for OLD eyes. My groups were cut in half.

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Finally got the Marbles tang sight ordered along with a Lyman globe for the front. I'll have it up and shooting just as soon as I get it. Will post pictures. I'm really excited about it.
