I glued them in place, THEN came in the the top of the drawers, and used a small copper nail to go thru the drawer, then casing, and the drawer again, to make SURE they didn't pull out. Pulling out unexpectedly would suck.MuddyWaters62 wrote:![]()

I have really enjoyed all of your projects that you have put up for our perusal. I think each one is better than the last. I am basically a wood butcher. I see all of your fine work and I am envious. One question, if I may, how do you secure the brass drawer knobs in place? I would think you would have to glue them in place, rather than just trusting a friction fit.
Once again, thank-you for your wonderful tutorials, they give me inspiration to experiment on my own projects.

Look Just above the knob at the edge of the drawer just behind the walnut front, counter sunk, but you can see the copper peeking thru.
