Obviously we are all very passionate about our love of firearms. My intention was to just mention my application for a carry permit and hope for a lucky break. I don't expect to get one and would be very surprised if I do. This topic could easily ramp up into a gun control firestorm and I think I speak for the Forum owners and admin folks when I say thank you for your restraint. I'll let you know how I make out but I won't lose sleep...

We have a good group. I find it interesting how they do things in other places. I always have and always will. If I travel to an english speaking country, I try to engage the locals, if they are willing, and see how things are where I am.

I'm pleased to see our membership exercise their restraint in the public forums. What a great bunch.
