Another great win for Truex yesterday.

Win #4.

Would love to see him win the Championship.

of all the "Yota drivers, he's the one I'd like to see win .... when Gibbs suspended two of his team members after a member of the 78's pit, I lost what little respect I had left for him ... 78 was whipping his teams so he handicapped them

"Hendrick Motorsports announced Monday that it will not retain driver Kasey Kahne to compete in the team’s No. 5 Chevrolet for the 2018 season. A future driver for the car was not revealed, but the team said it would announce its four-car lineup at a later date." ....http://www.nascar.com/news-media/2017/0 ... ways-2018/

not surprised in the least

Yeah, I agree. Many of us pretty much saw that going to happen.

My best guess as of now would be going to the 77 Team.

Or possibly dropping to the Infinity Series.

That recent win he got could have been more important than the average win produces. May just help him stay in Cup.

it seems that the owners have decided on going with a youth movement .... how about Matt Kenseth .... rumors have been circulating that he has a good shot at the 77

He could end up there, but I have a feeling that someone is going to get left out somewhere. Too many young guns jumping in like you have mentioned.

I sure noticed.

In my opinion, it is supposed to be 43.

Like it used to be for many, many years.

That's 6 cars missing.

Doesn't sound like progress to me.

unless someone can take a sponsor with him, I tend to believe that some top name drivers will have to drop down a level or retire .... if Danica's car should come open that would create another top quality open seat .... right now, the 77 is about the only one open

I've been holding back comment as I know you are a Danica fan, but I believe we will be hearing something about that ride soon, although they may try to wait as long as they can. I'll be really surprised if she can hold onto that seat. I would say that the only thing that may save her would be a big sponsorship deal somehow.

understood .... the bottom line with all teams is $$$$ .... her main sponsor will not be back next year .... if they find a replacement, she'll be in the driver's seat .... if they can't they may pull in another driver who can bring some sponsor $$$$ with them or, worse case, drop back to 3 teams .... I do like to follow Danica because I'd really like to see her do well but the main reason we pull for the 10 team is the chief engineer is one of my wife's former students .... if they have a team, he'll probably still be there and we will still pull for the 10

The 42 got lucky that there was another Caution, and capitalized on it and won.

Ganassi should had shown a little more enthusiasm after Larson's victory, lol.
