Gosh, do I have a lot of threads to catch up on.....you all have been really chatting a lot! I'm especially looking forward to reading through the thread on the "Henry Gun Case Project." Nothing more fun than working with wood, and creating some new wood art!

BigAl, I'm think I've reached about Cloud Seven already....from just admiring the beautiful wood craftsmanship, and the ease of working the lever action. The large lever is a pleasure to handle. Cloud Nine should happen at the range!

Thanks, Cofisher. I plan to have this carbine as a permanent resident in my gun cabinet for a very, very long time.

I remember your comments sometime back about your 357 steel and brass. I know it was hard and sad to let them go. Wishing you all the best with the new one.

I need to make a comment based on my experience selling my two Henry Big Boys. And especially since you said you "really like your Big Boy .357 Silver." I'd think hard about keeping it, and maybe just add the BBS carbine to your rifle collection. I can't tell you how many times over the last 1-1/2 years I wish I had been able to keep my other Big Boys. Selling a Henry is a tough thing to do! I've not seen a Silver yet other than the Henry web pictures. But it is definitely a fine-looking rifle. Okay, just my rambling thoughts on selling a Henry...

Looking forward to hearing how you like y our H012MR. I have a Big Boy Silver in .357 (H006MS) and really like it. Mine is a little too nice and a little too heavy to take out hunting so I'm considering selling it and buying a BBS carbine instead. Congrats on your's

I have wanted a Sharps Model 1874 Creedmore for a very long time. I seen one at a young age and didn't have the money, now that I am retired my budget does not allow it to come trun. If I hit the lottery it would happen.

Thanks PT7, I appropriate the thoughts and comment. Good point, I usually don't sell many guns once I get them. I do like the BB-silver, it's a really beautiful .357. Maybe I'll just save up a bit longer and get a Carbine like yours. Can't have too many, LOL. And your carbine looks fantastic!
