I have just bought a .357 BBS for a friend of mine's 10 year old son (big kid)
to use when he joins the hunting party this year.
My question is will the 180's feed through the BBS?
I have to be careful about COAL in my .45 Colt BBB, and I want to use as heavy a bullet
as I can in the .357
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

Re: 180 XTP
I went to my basement to look for some but the only 180s I have are the Remington 180 SJHP. When they are loaded the OAL exceed factory specs. If I remember right the xtp has 2 crimp grooves but I would only be guessing to say if they would load up at proper length. Al

Re: 180 XTP
Looking at the data on Hogdgons website, I see that them 180 grain Nosler Partition has a slightly shorter COL than the 158 grain XTPs. The 180s are also about 350 fps slower than the 158s.
When I used my .357 BBS to hunt with, I used off the shelf factory 158 grain SPs. They chronographed at 1800 fps from my 20" BBS. That was better than anything I could get from home rolled.
