New member with new Henry Golden Big Boy in 41Mag

Hi All
Just got back from the local gun shop with my new Henry Golden Big Boy in 41Mag. I've been a 41Mag fan for over 30 years. I have 5 S&W 41 Mags and a TC Contender in 41 mag. Been looking for a lever gun in this caliber for several years. Tried to get a Marlin several years ago but could never find one. Saw that the Golden Big Boy was coming out in June and started looking again. A friend was also looking and we found a pair of the rifles last week. They came in and we picked them up today. They both functioned flawlessly. I shot 6 rounds thru mine, he ran 5 thru his. Haven't put it on paper yet, but hope to do that soon. Will post pics when I get a chance

Thank you all for the welcome. As to fighting over the rifles if I had only found one, My friend would have gotten it. I was looking for one for him and found a dealer in Pa. that had one listed on GunsAmerica. When I called about it, I asked if they had two. The rest is history

As for being a 41mag fan. Been one for over 30 years. I have two Lew Horton 657's, a 3" and a 6 1/2" Classic Hunter. Also have an 8 3/8 an 6" 57. Then there is the 14" TC Contender. It is a great round. I will post pics of the collection when I get back home. I've been ill and in a nursing home for almost 100 days. I get out this Wed. I'll post pics of the 41 Mag collection then

I wish you continued success on your recovery so you can enjoy those 41's. I as well own several including a Freedom Arms, Smith 657 power port, Ruger Blackhawk and a Henry BBS. I was thinking about one of there carbine models in the brass but I have since thought I would wait becasue I want to see if they might expand there CCH line to include some pistol calibers. Al

Thank you all for the welcome. I visit various gun forums on the net. This is my first Henry. I've seen others through the years. All were 22lr levers or the AR7. My friend has had his out a few times now. Everyone he has let shoot it, liked it. I'll be able to get out to the range in a week or so. Need to load up some 41 Mags and have some fun. Anyone chronograph their 41mag rifles yet? Wondering what kind of FPS these are running with a 20" barrel
