Hi all another question regarding ammo my local place only carries seller and bellot 158 grain FMJ flat nose is this ok to shoot ? I've read different thing that says I can because it's flat nose type just want to make sure also I'll be ordering online so what do you guys use that's good sorry for all the newbie questions I've mostly been involved with milsurp rifles this is all new to me. Thanks in advance

Henry advises against FMJs because, in rare instances, the hard metal at the tip could set off a primer in the magazine tube. Nonetheless, before I learned about this advice, I fired hundreds of them in my Big Boy without incident; though I won't shoot them anymore out of an abundance of caution.
If you purchase online, find jacketed ammo that has a hollow or soft point and you'll be fine. Pretty much any lead bullet is fine, as well.

so far as I know, all manufactures of rifles with Henry type magazines strongly recommend against using spitzer (sharp point) FMJ ammo .... completely agree with CT, use jacketed ammo that has a hollow or soft point and you'll be fine

I agree I won't use either I thought because there was no point it would be ok I guess I can always load 2 at a time LOL
