From what I've heard and read, the Golden Boy is a great Henry rifle. Back in March, 2017, I posted a couple of very interesting threads about a focused "torture" test against the Golden Boy. It was done with the Henry president's go ahead. I found it first posted on the RFC forum by the author of the article; maybe you've heard about this test already.

From Niagara.

I purchased GB about two years ago, and enjoy it very much. Recently I came up with an alternative way to mount a scope on it, and now I like it even more than before.

Niagara is beautiful. My wife and I spent some New Year's Eve's there in the 80's. Good times. We always enjoyed Niagara on the lake.
