His pot of gold must have been at the other end of the rainbow.
Re: The end of the rain bow
Great timing on capturing that very cool photo, Biglever. I've never been that close to the end, pot-of-gold or no.
If the pot were there, this is what it might look like!

Sweet.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: The end of the rain bow
nicely done indeed
Re: The end of the rain bow
Fun pictures. I witnessed a full rainbow a couple weeks ago in Nebraska. A mild shower went through and left a beautiful scene. These are the ends, no gold, but treasure just the same.

About 25 years ago, we were duck hunting opening day on a pothole lake within a big floating bog, so you could see a long way. It was warm, and there were "popcorn" type showers blowing up, briefly raining hard, then dissipating, sun comes back out, then start over. For a while, flocks up ducks (Ringnecks, mostly) were flying through the arches of the rainbows. Naturally, no camera along. A smart phone with video capability would have been nice, but I really don't know if that imagery could have been captured.
