Great photographs. I'm glad you shared them with us. I was raised in an area where everyone who farmed did it family style. Now it's more of a science and business like. There is still one family farmer left in the area. The ONLY one left. The smaller farms all belong to this mega farm or that mega farm.

Pics from today. 232 yearlings. Took them about 16 miles. 10 hrs in the saddle. Great day! Rode Dakota, his ears show up once in awhile. 70f. Sunshine all day. Cattle moved well but slow the last hour. Tired. Put them in with cow calf pairs. Enjoy.

There's only one way to really see Alberta; between a cow horse's ears! Glad you enjoyed them.

ps....the 1860 Henry rides quite well all day. Hardly noticed it was there in the scabbard. Didn't need it once...always a good thing. ;)

Looks like it's greened up nicely, and them yearlings look to have wintered well! Purty country!

Thanks, RR. The perspective from horseback is appreciated. Beautiful country and lifestyle.
