WOW! I can't thank you guys enough for all the links and suggestions. I will probably pull the trigger on one next week. Looks like I am going to have to pay more than $575!!! (great price adirondack).

Wallmart here has .22 golden boys at $399 and blued .22 at $279. Henry is becoming a household name instead of an expensive seldom seen rifle. All is good as long as quality doesn't suffer....remember the AMF Harleys!

I to had problems finding the 45-70 Brass the Big Box stores will not order it for you if they don't stock it. I even wanted to prepay for it but they will not do it. Im talking about Cabellas, Bass Pro Shops, Dicks Sporting Goods. I got mine through a pawn shop brand new in the box for 800.00

I guess that I am lucky or maybe not. I have a H.R.A. dealer about ten minutes from my house. They stock several models at all times.

Found mine at the new Brownells store in Grinnell. Went down to get some things and they had a rack full of them. Brass(?) and steel frames. Not sure but looked like they had all of the different calibers. After thinking about it went back the next day and bought the steel BB in 38/357.

Vaquero,

Be happy to post a pcture of my Henry, or any test work I do with it, when I can figure out how to do it. Either directly off my computer or thru Photo Bucket. Been so long since I've been on PB they've either changed things, or I forgot how to do it. Is there a message on here with how-to instructions? The little I've found doesn't tell me much. Be nice if I could click, copy, paste as I do on another forum.

I just bought a Big Boy in 357/38 from http://sportsmansguide.com for $683.xx. It will cost me an extra 50 to get it transferred here in MD.

A picture of my new Henry steel .38/357 is posted as a new thread. Have a comment or two and a question I'd like some comments on so figured that would be better than just tacking it on here.
