Poor Emily! I'm sure she's quite confident that she found bullets from an automatic assault rifle. Like her, too many people do not know how to conduct research or select reliable sources of information. Sharing misinformation like that with others is the real problem, though. And, she's hardly alone. She's was simply providing what is now widely known as alternate facts.

Also reminds me of a report out of California recently:
"There were 3 Guns found at the home and an "Arsenal" of 1100 Bullets" !!
The community must have been shuttering with fear with that enormous supply of ammo.

This has got to be hoax - nobody could be that dumb - especially after doing some "research".....

Oh Yeah, they can. The sad part of it is, they go on TV and get paid to be that dumb.tractortad wrote:This has got to be hoax - nobody could be that dumb - especially after doing some "research".....
Years ago, Jer-al-do did a special report from Vieques Puerto Rico due to the Navy's continued bombing of the island.
The Navy had purchased the island from Puerto Rico as a bombing range years before (1941), and planned to only bomb the center of the long narrow island, and after negotiations, agreed to let the families living on both ends, stay, but there was to be a buffer zone for safety on the outside edges of the bombing range, a NO go area so to speak. "Oh sure, no problem, thanks so much." Everything was fine for years, until the population grew to large for the zones on both ends. The locals begin to encroach into the buffer zone, building houses and businesses. More and more until they were close to the edge of the bombing range. Of course, an impact went wide, into the buffer and leveled a building... and the locals got all upset. Enter Jeraldo.
He makes a big stink, not reporting any of the history, just reporting that the Navy blew up a local's dwelling, and even going scuba diving with a camera crew, and when Narrating the video points out a drop tank from an OV10 Bronco Observation Plane, and says, "There, right there, that must be a 500 pound bomb, laying live in the shallow waters just off the island... waiting to go off." Yeah, Jer-al-do, that fuel tank, filled with salt water, is just waiting to explode... you moron.
After years of whining, the Navy finally gave in and ceased bombing in Vieques... 2003. The whining backfired, as the Navy Chief of Operations closed the main base at Roosevelt Roads as well. Without the training at Vieques, we have no need for a base in Puerto Rico, it's a drain on the Navy Budget and a waste of taxpayer funds... to the tune of $250 Million a year. Oops, unexpected consequences.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Yeah I take these kinds of posts with a grain of salt or 2! Lotsa trolls out there trying to stir the pot. Reminds me of the "High Lift Assault Weapon" pics that keep going around. Claiming some woman went berserk on him because she thought the jack on his Jeep was an "Assault weapon". Makes a good internet Myth but I doubt it happened.
