That is the right buying solution for many people.

Will let ya'll know how it goes with them.
None of my local stores even show it on their distributor lists as available now.

Follow up...dealer called me within an hour after order to say he got my FFL and that firearm would ship
and gave me his cell in case I had any questions during the process.

This is my 4th online gun purchase over the years and never had that kind of followup.
Well things did not go so well with this purchase form GunProDeals.com....really regret. More to follow
as I try and work things out with them.

I'm sorry to hear that, too. Good luck with it. I've had a transaction go wonky on gunbroker, but it eventually got resolved.

I ordered mine to my LGS when they first started shipping as no one locally had them in stock yet.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you will keep us in the loop. Real-life experiences with little-known online gun-sellers can be hugely valuable.

I picked up my Big Boy Steel Carbine in .357
It feels better in my hands than I hoped it would.
Will take it out to the range tomorrow for photos and a report.

As a follow up to my bad experience with Gunprodeals.com I ended up losing $200 in the transaction.
They did not send the gun I thought I ordered and my FFL and I noticed this and did not do the transfer.
We DID open the box to confirm they did not send the .357 (A 41 Mag was shipped).
The FFL DID NOT transfer the gun to me and returned it to gunprodeals.com
The seller told us that since we "broke the seal" and opened box, there would be a 25%
restocking fee. The gun was not transferred to me and not fired. It was returned in new condition.

As ALL of you know, the Henry's are shipped in an easy open box with tabs...there is no "seal" to break.
I was not treated fairly and as much as I made my case to the gunprodeals.com
I even asked for the compromise of their stated 10% restock fee for items returned new condition.
I was courteous throughout but they refused to compromise. I paid shipping both directions, so they
made $200 on the deal and they get to sell the gun again. I would avoid them at all costs, even though they
have the lowest posted prices on the net....

This firearm is one of 4 I have purchased at my local store which has been totally great...I have learned a big lesson.
(Buds Guns has also been very very good, as far as online sellers go).

Again...photos to follow.

It is unfortunate that they charged 25% restocking fee for sending you the wrong rifle. If you read their policies page, basically no matter what you are going to pay a restocking fee of at least 10% but most likely 25% if you order a gun from them and need to return it for whatever the reason. I buy from my local shop because I am a person and not a number there.

Agreed. I feel so dumb about it. I order a lot of things online and have had very rare problems. These guys where bad.
Guns are best bought local. Shipping plus FFL costs and in our state the FFL collects sales tax too.
