Pictures of your fishing adventures
Re: Pictures of your fishing adventures
Bass fishing in my back yard. We live on a large canal system; one of the good ones that flows like a river year round and is deep; with several large ponds in the mix. I think I figured out how to post pics here. LOL

Offshore can be fun...
Found this whale shark playing in a sargassum weedline 35 miles out. She had 2 big cobia following her.. So I caught the bigger of the 2; pitched a big pinfish to it... Took a good 20 minutes to land this cobia. The line kept getting sargassum weed all over it and had to clear the line of weeds several times. Then the whale shark kept getting curious and bumped into the cobia several times. Touch and go for a while with a big strong fish..

Re: Pictures of your fishing adventures
I've always enjoyed bass fishing but arthritis has put an end to my ability to spend the day casting and retrieving .... a few years ago I was introduced to trolling for walleye, which I've come to really enjoy .... spending our summers in South Dakota (with excursions over into Minnesota) makes it possible ... the first 3 pictures below were caught in the Mississippi River near Winona, MN .... the last picture shows fish caught in Lake Albert, SD

Re: Pictures of your fishing adventures
I like catching fish and don't mind cleaning/filleting them but I've never been fond of eating fish .... that said, for me walleye is the best tasting fresh water fish with crappie/perch coming in second
