Picked er up today

Post by SloopJohnB » Thu Mar 02, 2017 12:45 am

My new .45LC. Fit and Finish are gorgeous. All junctions of brass and walnut are seamless. Trigger is a crisp 4lbs with no creep. Lever action is very smooth. Will take some pics in a few days. I'm busy as all get out, but I am going to try to get to the range Friday.

Still waiting for Henry to ship my new rifle.
I have a new Big Boy steel in .327fed/mag on order.
They say they'll ship this month...

Congrats on your .45Colt.
It's a fun round to shoot cowboy loads, but can be loaded hot enough to knock a deer off it's hooves.
I have a Puma model '92 in .454Casull that I use to sling out .45Colts.

Congratulations! That's a beautiful rifle in a great caliber.

Also, please consider adding your Henrys to the forum's ongoing Henry tally. We'd like to know how many Henrys we all own.
