Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
It's a belated 'Good Morning' from me today. I got back from London yesterday and tried to set up my new fiber broadband. I changed supplier the week before last, so yesterday was the first time I had a chance to try to connect.
So much for "It's a simple operation - just plug in the cable and get online". Yeah, right.
Anyway, it looks like I've got it working today, so I'll see how long it lasts.
I hope you all have a great weekend.

Sunny day here and above freezing. Off to Lethbridge with the family for pancakes and shopping today. Maybe see a movie, which is rare for me to go to the theater. Maybe the popcorn will be good.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
JEBar do you ever run down to the gulf while you are there? Not sure how far you are from Kemah. But just outside of Kemah is a resturant called the Top Water Grill. They have some tasty food there. Al

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
suggestion appreciated .... we've been coming down here for over 10 years and only been to the Gulf once .... with our Sportchassis, day trips have a way of getting expensive .... we seldom eat out, usually buy at grocery stores and fix our meals at the camper .... unfortunately, in our area around Conroe, TX good seafood restaurants are hard to find .... they don't seem to have the seafood sales stores like we have at home .... about the only place we have found to buy seafood to take back to the camper is at regular grocery storesBigAl52 wrote:JEBar do you ever run down to the gulf while you are there? Good morning everybody!
It's 41° with the forecast of wind and rain shortly - definitely not the best weather for a trip to the airgun range, but that won't stop me!
I hope you all have a great day, and enjoy your brews.

Freezing rain today, everything covered in a layer of ice. Won't be venturing too far from home today. Tea time. Have a great Sunday.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Hope you had as much fun as I did. Clay Pigeons on the bank and even found a couple of golf balls to shoot at. Put 500 rounds thru the pump today. Shot it so much my arms were tired at the end and just couldnt go anymore. But the pump is now at lot smoother than it was. Was in the 60's here and I had a great day. The golf balls were pretty safe I had better luck brakin the clays than I did hittin those little balls at about 40 yards. Al

Weather has been all over the place here. Warm, cold, dry, wet, you name it. I sometimes have difficulty doing the same things I did when Donna was still alive. It sometimes seems like the world is a different place.

Unfortunately my friend, it is a different world. One not as good as it was a bit ago.
We are here for you, privately and publicly. Hang in there.
