new member intro

Post by sniper308vls » Thu Mar 02, 2017 5:56 pm

Hi Folks, I am new to this forum. Just a short intro as to who I am and where I come from. I am a retired USMC (Vietnam Veteran) and a retired US Custom Inspector. I have enjoyed shooting ever since I can remember. Sniper in Vietnam, Range Officer for US Customs. Really Love my Frontier model Henry with skinner sights that is an absolute tac driver. I am looking to get a Big Boy not sure 357, 44 mag or 45-70 (cannot afford all three) lol. I would like to be active in conversation and any info concerning Henry rifles is a plus. Hope to gain some knowledge from shooters here and possibly share the same.

Welcome from Colorado and thanks for your service. Dont know what your plans are for the Big Boy whether its to just shoot or both shoot and hunt but if your after just a shooter and a fun gun I would suggest the 357. There just pure fun and the 38 special is like a 22 on steroids in the big boy. Al
