Newbie waiting on delivery of first Henry

Hello everyone,
Like the title says I'm anxiously awaiting delivery of my first Henry rifle, a Big Boy Steel 20" 41 Magnum.

My history with 41 Magnum goes back to the mid 80s my heart almost skipped a beat when I found out that Henry was chambering one of their rifles in 41. I finally got tired of waiting for the right time and enough funds to add one to my collection and accepted one of those offers you can't refuse to sell my 308 bolt gun to a good friend who fell in love with it. Money wasn't in my hands for an hour before I ordered the BBS.

The Henry will make a great companion to my 41 Blackhawk and Redhawk.

Looking forward to hanging out here to learn and share.

Welcome from the Rockies to the best forum on the net. I as well am a 41 lover and own one in the steel. I am awaiting the month of March to come so I can get my hands on another 41 in the Big Boy brass carbine. I really like how the carbines handle. first, welcome to our community, happy to have you with us .... the Big Boy Steel 41 is a very capable rifle .... we are looking forward to hearing range reports

Congratulations on your new rifle - I'm sure you'll love it, and I know how frustrating it is to wait. I'm currently into week 10 of an estimated 12 week wait for a .22 Henry Frontier, but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.
