75 mph winds tonight! Feeding horses I think I ate more hay than they did. Unbelievable winds. Just relaxing with a tea, and winding down for the evening.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
I'm going to enjoy some man cave action tonight. I have a DVD in the player and just made a second pitcher of martinis.
No, I haven't had a pitcher already, I had just reached for the stirring rod when I heard a trickle. A chunk had cracked right out of the pitcher at the base. My martinis were leaking all over. It was a nice glass pitcher too. One with pheasants taking off. I have all kinds of glasses and pitchers like that at camp. This was the only one at home. Oh well, onto the movie.
I'm pouring a martini and toasting you all. (Momma is travelling for work, so man alone.) The movie is the man from uncle.
Enjoy your night.

Sorry about the pitcher, even worse to lose any of the mix. A pitcher of 'em sounds inviting. I may have a Jack Daniels on the rocks tonight.

It's not a large pitcher by the way. More the size of a large drinking glass. Not a lemonade pitcher lol. I wouldn't be up this early lol.Deadwood Dutch wrote:Sorry about the pitcher, even worse to lose any of the mix. A pitcher of 'em sounds inviting. I may have a Jack Daniels on the rocks tonight.

As I sit here tonight, reading a book about the history of NASCAR, I was just having a Diet Coke, when I sensed that I was being watched. And as I slowly turned, I saw something that resembled a small fox.

I'm having a Kentucky Bourbon tonight. Perhaps two, after hearing of Gene's loss.
I am raising my glass in your direction Gene. I am celebrating the years you had with your wife and wishing you well in the years that she is not there.
Salute my friend.

I am going to have a couple of Dewar's White Label on the rocks tonight and start on Lonesome Dove. I got these two at a used book store in town. $6.00 for both. I had read it a long time ago but I have forgotten a lot. I have never read the other one.
Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Lonesome Dove, great read.

Both are good books. You'll enjoy them. Suggest reading Comanche Moon first. Then the story will will flow right into LD. Gus, Call and their Henry rifles....great stuff.

I am sitting here this evening drinking a can of Bush beer with my little friend. Bush isn't a real good beer, but not a really bad beer either, to me anyway. I am not one to buy the real expensive beer. I think I paid $18.00 for a 30 pack. I don't drink that much anymore, maybe one or two cans every 5th night. Tonight is the 5th night.
Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Dutch your friend looks like he could use a beer he looks angry in the picture.

See that little rawhide bone, we call it a "chewy bone", she is daring anyone to get close to it.
