Only in NYC would you see this sort of traffic situation with a pedestrian smack dab in the middle of it all. Love the photo!

O, I thank the Lord that I did not have to deal with that mess everyday.

When I was a working man (retired now), I drove 18 miles to work each day, evening, or night (shift work). There were many times that I never met a single vehicle going or coming from work. There were also some days when the snow plow had not been out yet.

I have never been to New York city and a visit is not even remotely in my plans.

Sure looks like a busy place. We get lots of Rocky Mtn sheep or elk slowing things down sometimes, but if I want my traffic fix I go to Calgary...

I like the city, Manhattan and especially Times Square. I have been there numerous times including my honeymoon in 1968. I have, on occasion, stopped and talked to a cop in Times Square. The NYPD has always been cordial and accommodating. There are also a lot of undercover cops in Times Square, but you would never know it.Image[/[URL=http://s1083.photobucket.com/user/bmolloy1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-02/6BBECAD0-C285-4DAE-AF63-86404B3A83D8_zpsgfgfj48t.jpg.html]Image
