Another nice day here in the high 50's. But heard the weekend weather is turning nasty. Go Figure. I think were in for a payback mode for the nice weather. Have a great day.

It's forecast to be a sunny and warmer day in CT; no wind with temps in the 40s. We're planning a Valentine's Day special dinner of King Crab legs for this evening. Enjoy your day. :)

Another mild sunny day, temps just above freezing. We're not sure what we're doing for V-Day, might go for supper local. Chores are done, tea time.

for those who may have watched the Weather Channel this morning, they will have seen continuing coverage of the storm system that moved through east Texas this morning .... around 6AM steady flashes of far away lightening could be seen but we didn't start hearing any thunder for about 15 minutes .... shortly thereafter heavy rain started coming down .... don't know how long it continued (rolled over and went to sleep ;) ) but it sure is wet this morning .... on my second cup of coffee in my Henry mug

It is windy with rain and snow squalls here today but not really very cold. It has been an extremely mild winter so far and supposed to be up in the lower sixties by the weekend, unbelievable! It may be more like winter in the next weeks but I can't remember a winter this mild. It surely helps with the heating bill and I also hope that we don't have a real scorcher of a summer this year, for this area.

Good morning everybody! :D

It's a very mild 42° today, so I've decided to load up the car and go and give the grass at the ranges the first cut of the year, just to tidy them up a bit. It's probably not the best idea I've ever had, but it's cheaper than going to a gym! :D

I hope you all have a great day. ;)

Very mild and windy. Temps in the 60's. Snow going down fast. What a difference a week makes. We have our own private lake now in the front pasture. Also had an elk in the yard last night. We don't get them around our place much. Good size track. They are usually back in the hills.

Good morning everybody! :D

It's 44° and overcast today. I managed to get the grass cut at my two shooting clubs yesterday - it's the turn of the 'lawn' at home today. After all the exercise, I'll be spending the rest of the day drinking tea and playing on the internet. :D

Still mild with snow going down by the hour. My driveway is down to bare gravel. Lake in the front pasture is half the size of the photo yesterday. Drifts are down to where I can see over the top now. In another week or so the horses will start shedding winter hair. March 1st I'll renew my gun club membership for the year, and my new 1860 Cimarron Henry is not too far away now! All good. Having tea in the Henry mug, and on with the day. Enjoy!

Good morning everybody! :D

It's another mild start to the day over here. 44°, and a slight possibility of rain later. I'm on range officer duty at one of my clubs this morning. There's a new intake of probationary members who need to be put through their paces, so it can get interesting to say the least! ;)

I hope you all have a great weekend! :D

25* at 5:25 AM. Looks to maybe hit 60* or better today. Getting ready to go to Bloomsburg, Pa. to a big gun show. Leaving at 6:00 this morning. 185 miles one way but the scenery up that way is pretty nice so it is not a bad ride.

It's supposed to be 50 or so here today. I'm percolating coffee on the stove at the moment. Since it is my day off, a tiny splash of Amaretto will be in the Henry mug too.

Today I have to catch up. Clean the man cave is tops on the list.

I hope your range day goes well Les.

Have a nice day all.
