Warmed up to plus temps, nice. Not much on the plan for today, having tea in the Henry mug.

Good morning everybody!
It's 33°and the forecast is for heavy rain. Just as well the outdoor airgun shoot has been cancelled - it might have become a bit damp and muddy.
I hope you all have a great day, and enjoy your morning brews.

A rather nice day on tap today with a high of 39* and sunny predicted. A good day to travel. Have to be on the road for about 4 hours today, 2 hours to Allentown and back again. It's been about a month since I went up to see mom. She will be 102 on February 5th.

30° out, and snow is on the way. Probably do a little reloading while I work my Ham radio station. Its very interesting to listen to the scanner especially during a good snowfall. Lots of stuff going on. Organic dark roast in my cup this morning. Plows all ready to go, in case its needed. Have a nice day.

That's amazing, Dutch. Your Mom must have some incredible stories to tell.Deadwood Dutch wrote: It's been about a month since I went up to see mom. She will be 102 on February 5th.

Thanks, just got back a little while ago. She does pretty well for that age, short term memory not so good, but to be expected. She has excellent care in the personal care unit of the retirement complex where she lives. She still has a good sense of humor. Actually very little physical problems.

Good morning everybody!
It's 34° and still raining - but I'll take rain over snow any day.

Getting colder this week. Morning tea in a go cup. On with the day. Listed my vintage guitar on a website. Let's hope it sells, cuz that's the 1860 Henry fund.

Looks to be a sunny day today with the hours of sunshine getting longer. I've been busy and haven't been posting much. Might not be able to post much for two weeks because I'm packing back up for state two of my hardwood floor installation.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
21* at 5:20 AM with snow coming down pretty steady for the last hour. Plow truck just went by and my wife just left for work right after it went through. She had a set of glacier tread tires put on her Corolla for this winter and feels better now driving in this weather. Has a lot of grip with the new tires. I might go on the mountain with the 4 wheeler if it keeps snowing a while longer to get a good base. Have a great day.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Snow tires make a big difference on any car if you have snow. I use studded tires. You can hear me coming.
In the 20s with a little snow on the way.
Having coffee in the Scout jamboree mug.
Enjoy your day.

Morning from the Motor City! 27 deg with light snow!
Already a couple of inches on the ground.
Studded tires are illegal here, but I remember my dad running them in Pittsburgh!

Yes, noticeably. I'm doing evening chores and feeding horses in the daylight again! Sure makes difference in your overall well-being to get outside, get busy and know that spring isn't too far off now.Sir Henry wrote:Days are sure getting longer.
