Anyway, a got a teensy bit carried away with a post, and got a warning for "language." Sadly, I didn't get banned or anything. Just the warning, but hey, I can still boast a bit. I'm just livin' life on the edge!
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

I was naughty today at another forum. Yup, and I'm proud of it. Sir Henry, I think you would approve, too.

I looked it up on the forum you are referring to. I liked what you had to say and I see a lot of others did also.

At the the Marlinowners forum.* I was venting a bit about a subject which is, thank goodness, entirely out of bounds here at the Henry Forum.Les wrote:Don't leave us all in suspense, Ditto ...... give us a clue.
I think SH and I have had a discussion about this before, but I used to be active in a large camera forum. The then-owner of the forum used to get many members angry because he was very biased in favor of one very large camera maker, and biased against our favorite maker. When members would call him on that, bans would be issued- mostly temporary in nature. When an esteemed members came back from bans, they were welcomed as heroes, and wore their bans as badges of honor. Puerile? Perhaps. But fun, nonetheless.
*The mods at the Marlinowners Forum tend to be pretty laid back and cool compared to at other firearms forums. Not sure why this one got his undies in a bundle. Perhaps his wife told him he has too many Marlins.

Well... who knows. I could get sassy here at the Henry site and have to be scolded. Like if someone starts beating the loading gate dead horse.Cowboy Gun Fan wrote:I was over there almost all day yesterday, but somehow missed it, lol.

There is one particular shooting forum over here where it is notoriously easy to get banned from. Don't ask me how I know this.

Still, it kinda makes me wonder, why is being naughty so enjoyable? Will I ever grow up?

Ahh yes, I remember that political scandal from the '70's that got Nixon in trouble; LoadingGate.
I agree. Best left alone so our forum doesn't go down the Tube.

Nixon should have just stuck to bolt action rifles, and left the whole LoadingGate issue alone.RanchRoper wrote:Ahh yes, I remember that political scandal from the '70's that got Nixon in trouble; LoadingGate.
