How very nice to see deer right in your yard. But I suppose it does make the bird seed disappear faster.

I don't mind the deer, it's the bear's in the spring, they destroy the feeders.

Re: Bird seed bandit
I have deer come feed in my orchard in the late fall and early winter. What they don't eat the birds and squirrels do.

Amen to that.
This deer thinks it's a squirrel, stealing from our squirrel feeder.

It doesn't take animals long to know when there's easy pickings around!

Re: Bird seed bandit
We have deer in the back and front yards almost daily. They can't get into the squirrel proof feeder. The squirrels can't either. They do eat all the flowers and hosta. I wish I could cull them, but not in my neighborhood. I do see a few nice Bucks each year.
Some days I'm Andy, most days I'm Barney........

We see them every day, too, Dave. Makes for fenced gardens if you expect to grow anything.
Re: Bird seed bandit
Looks to me like there might be some potential tenderloin and eggs for breakfast there or maybe some jerky.

Re: Bird seed bandit
Naw, those are like our pets. They even come up to the fence and tease the dogs.
