Still playing around with export file size. Got some advise from one of my mentors who is a professional. This shot is 3000x2000 pixels and 9000dpi. This is taken from my favorite Kayak fishing places. It's the Pamlico river right before it goes out into the sound. The island just right of center is Indian Island. Just to the left of center is the end of land across the river. I have paddled around the Island a few times, it's a long haul out and back but the fishing is great.

In my opinion, that is too large. I'd suggest that 800x600 or as much as 1024x768 would be adequate for a webpage on most monitors. Certainly, displays do have greater resolution today, but it is still a good practice to limit the size of images that are published on websites. Images that are being prepared for print have different considerations.eldermike wrote: This shot is 3000x2000 pixels and 9000dpi.
