I think the coldest I've seen was -45 on the outdoor thermometer. That was years ago. But we regularly get -30 to -35. That's normal in Jan and Feb. We had it in Dec which is unusual. But then a Chinook will blow and it'll go from -30 at 5am to water running off the roof by noon.BigAl52 wrote:Man RR I cant believe we were colder that you were

Warm wind from the Pacific. It does weird stuff coming over the Rockies and warms up as it hits Alberta. Maybe you get them too?

Good morning everybody!
It's 46° and very foggy, so whatever the weather is doing, it's doing it in secret, because I can't see it.
Enjoy your morning poison, and I hope you all have a great weekend.

It's 12 here and going to snow a bit. I'm off today, so we'll see what the day holds in store.
My coffee is on the stove and I'm planning on drinking the whole pot.
I hope you all have a good day.

12° light snow. Must of got around 6" of snow last night. We got some needed supplies yesterday before it all started. Doesn't seem like much , but we live up on a pretty steep hill, and unless I plow today with my SXS. We're not going anywhere. Good thing is, I don't have to. Enjoy your coffees this morning.

Well they sure do eat snow. Feb and March are forecasted at above freezing temps with rain so snow will go fast. In town right now, just bought more ammo!BigAl52 wrote:Its Indian for snow eater. Yes we also get them. I need one right now to get us back to 85

Good morning everybody!
It's 43° and dark, but it's Sunday so that means it's airgun day. The car is packed, the coffee is in the flask, so I'll just say see you later!
Have a great day, and enjoy your brews!

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Well just to make you guys feel a little better it was 36 degrees F. this morning in Clearwater ,Fl. on the west coast just west of Tampa. We have no snow although I have seen it happen here. The sun is out and the high will be in the mid fifties. The next few days will gradually warm up to the mid seventies.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
I'm still sleeping in the unheated trailer but its getting warmer. Last night it only got down to 43 degrees inside. One night when it was in the teens outside it got down to 29 inside. Six more nights and I should be sleeping in my warm bed.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
-20 here this morning. Just finished feeding hay. Took a walk around the place this morning and we have drifts 10 feet high in some places. The fence along our driveway in the front pasture is completely buried under drifts. There will e lots of fence to mend once this all melts, I'll have busted wires everywhere. Kettle is on for tea. Have a good day all.
