Henry gifts

Post by bandit1250 » Tue Dec 27, 2016 12:51 pm

I received the Henry gifts today that tractortad was so generous to donate to me from winning the contest. I want to thank him again for such a fine thing he did for me. There is two boxes but I am not going to open them until my wife gets home and is here when I do open them up. She thanks tractortad also and says this forum is made up of very thoughtful members. She knows this is my favorite forum and the first one I visit when I go to the computer. I will take some pictures if my camera that got damaged in the home accident will work. I got it taped together until they pay me for damaged personal property then I will be camera shopping. I may have to have some help from members to steer me in the right direction on what is a decent choice.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your gifts, Bandit, and I hope that the insurance company gets its act together for you very shortly. :D

Hey Bandit - you are more than welcome for the Henry gifts - and I couldn't agree more with you about this forum. I think most of the members of this forum would have done the same if they had won the contest - that's just the way it is with good people. Thanks to Daytime Dave's and Henry's thoughtfulness, I also got two boxes at the front door today - hope you had the same smile on your face that I had on mine when I opened up the boxes. Take care and Merry Christmas - Tad

I think maybe I got a picture of the great items that the daytimedave and Henry put together for the contest and tractortad was so generous to give his prize up to me. I could not believe how nice the items are that was delivered to me. It is items I have looked at in the back of the Henry catalog and thought I would really like to have. Hope the picture of the really nice Henry items comes through.

How about that Henry orange color on the gun case? No doubt what brand belongs in that color case! I promise to not put 39A Marlin's in it.  The Henry mug was in use at the time of the picture. :) All the items are made so nice and U.S.A. made just like our Henry guns. Some of the things I won't use and I hope to get a show case built for on my wall if and when my room gets rebuilt to put these things in for display. It is also nice that the 1000 man shoot was held on my mothers birth day. She passed away in '98. So again thanks to everyone who made all this happen and I am very happy that tractortad still received what he had won. I just don't know what else to say and I usually am not lost for words.

I happened to have a hat and a case on the way when that picture showed up. I as well love that big bright orange case and it works well to. Used it to go to the range a couple of days ago. Al
