How GunBroker Works

I have tried to buy few guns off GunBroker but always get outbid. On a couple, the same guns which were supposedly sold to a higher bidder, were back on the list for sale again? That did it for me, no more GunBroker. The last two guns I have bought have been from Buds. Free shipping and no
sales tax.

Found my Glock model 35 on Buds Gun Shop . $642 cash ... OUCH I only paid $388 for the same gun and that includes all charges and delivered to me total cost . A few year ago I would bid on 20 guns a month and maybe I would steal one and win the bid . . It took me almost a year to get this Glock 35 .............

That's the key to getting a good deal -you have to under bid dozens of items to finally win one but when you do it's a steal.

However, if I want a particular firearm, I am not willing wait a year or have to put in dozens of bids to get it. Not when I can go some were else
like Buds, buy the gun and have it in my hands in a week or so. (Buds requires an FFL address). Some say Buds gun prices are high. but the two I bought this year had free shipping and were very competitive to other on line sellers. It's always a good idea to check around for gun prices and shipping costs, etc.

Buds is a great place to buy cookie cutter guns and they have a good prices . I was a gun collector of rare guns . Bud can't help you with guns like the ones below . Both Ruger SA below were new unfired with box and papers . Both were made in 1975 . If it wasn't for GB I would have NEVER owned any of these gun below .

I bought a Winchester 9410 and a 9422 on GB but had to step up and pay the price. I bid low on ebay items and kind of transcribed it to GB. But I don't normally bid on GB unless I really want something.

Buds does sell used firearms, but you are probably right.

I like to see, hold and handle what I buy in any item be it a gun, knife, furniture, etc.

I am 80 yrs old and have had guns of all kinds (including black powder) since I was 12 yrs old. So I pretty much know what I want without having to see or handle them before I purchase one. But I do check the local gun shops before I buy a new firearm. The problem is where I live there are not a lot guns shops and they just don't have a large selection. I ordered my Henry 22mag from a LGS, three months later no Henry. So I canceled my order and got it on line. Now I just go online to get what I want, so far I have had excellent results.
