11* at 6:05 and having a my first Henry mug of hot coffee. Feels like my fire went out so I turned on the furnace for now. Have to make a trip to Wal-Mart before going to get a new set of winter treads on my truck so I can get off the main roads when I want to go hunting after Christmas.

It's supposed to be a clear day, staying just below freezing.

I'm off to work in a while. I survived the dental procedure. It went so well, I get the other half done in two weeks. lol

We are back up into the low 40's. But warmer temperatures always means rain this time of year.

This morning...

I offered to buy my husband some EXTRA reloading brass for his one and only pistol caliber that he owns and shoots now.

He told me that he did NOT want or need anything else for his 45acp pistols.

It was going to be part of his Christmas gift from me to him.

His buddy wants me to adopt him after I told him this!

heavy frost that looks more like a baby snow in our area this morning .... if you plan to go out and chop some collards, you can be assured they will have been hard "bit" and ready .... with steaming black coffee in my Henry mug and couple of eggs frying, it will soon be time to start the day

We were blessed with some temps back up in the 70s yesterday. Really came out of no where! Looks like we may get some rain today but still in the upper 60s. Enjoying a few cups of coffee and taking my wife to the doctor.

It was sunny in our valley today. It was nice in town even though it was cold, snowy and icy.

My husband went to the range again. (I stayed home.)

He shot his Marlin 336SS 30-30 rifle and one of his 45acp pistols.

He finished up another 100 rounds of reloaded ammunition in 45acp.

He shot 2 different loads for his 30-30 and maybe 50 reloaded rounds there. He used some of his Beartooth Bullets out of Idaho for the 30-30.

He shot great as usual and, no, I don't have pictures of his targets.

It's 47° and breezy. So far it has been one of the mildest Decembers on record, apparently. I'll take their word for it. I'm just happy that the snow and ice haven't made an appearance ....... yet.
