50 with an overcast this morning keeping us out of the 40’s. Nice today and tomorrow with rain coming in late Thursday and into Friday. Maybe as much as .3 inch. Bring it! Nice for the weekend other than cooler with highs in the 60’s. We had 84 yesterday .

More puttering around the place today and then tomorrow off to the golf course. That sport is winding down soon but this is the best time of the year to play. Heading over to Idaho tomorrow and it is expected to be pleasant.

RAIN ..... on night's local weather they mentioned that this month is our driest September on record .... don't know if that is still true because we are having some very welcome, serious rain .... looking forward to finding out what our total will be .... we have standing water that is mid ankle deep .. ..

48 with a beautiful sunrise on this first day heading to winter…..huh?

Low 70’s later with sunny skies. More of the same tomorrow with a storm arriving late Thursday and Friday is expected to be a rain out with winds to 45mph. With the good rain and cooler temps hopefully there will not be any new fires. The fire picture has been pretty calm for the last few weeks.

Hitting the golf course today in an area of Idaho Sir Henry knows from his youth. Twin Lakes is the place and the course is carved out of the lower Idaho mountains. Might hear an Elk bugle……

46 this morning with a blue/pink cotton candy sky appearing. Another nice day today near 80 but tomorrow brings big changes. Rain coming in tomorrow and could be substantial. At least for this area anyway. Following the rain it’s expected to get windy with possible gusts to 50 mph. Hopefully with the rain coming first we will avoid more wildfires. The high for Saturday is expected to remain in the 50’s.

Good day for me to mow the lawn and get other outdoor chores done.
