In the eco mode it cools the house not quite as good as the old unit. So it’s 74F downstairs instead of 72. The good news is it barely runs to do that. I received the electric bill for the first full month of using the new a/c. It was $181 compared to $238 for the month before. In the winter my electric bill runs $120-$130.
