Piddled around outside a little this morning. Then it got
.
Decided to stuff some 10mm....
just kidding.
It was some 10mm Magnum, aka the 41 Magnum
Finally emptied that big can of Red dot
got 54 to try. Then for the heck of it 10 more with 15.0 grs of the new bottle of 2400 and 10 more with 9.0 grs of unique.
Oh, the pills are some old Remington 200gr JSHP.

Some old Red Dot powder under some old Remington bullets in that 10mm mag! Nice job of using up some old components.

Yeah, that steel can of Red Dot goes back a year or two. I first got into working in the wholesale firearms business in 1976 and I don’t remember steel cans for bulk powders. Although the company I worked for in 76 didn’t sell bulk, only one pound containers. In 1979 I went to work for another place that did sell bulk powders and the Hercules (now Alliant) bulk powders were sold in cardboard containers. Sure takes me back….

Until i get my truck back from the shop, i'm stuck with other work. I need to mow the lawn again before i even attempt to do any shooting or reloading. I figure it will take me 2 to 3 weeks to get the lawn and gun ranges back in order.
