51 years together this weekend and a special picture !

This weekend September 6 will mark Margie and I 51st Anniversary and to celebrate I made up a picture we never had of us on our honeymoon with my 1974 Z/28 Camaro. Tried some of the so called free online editing apps but they suck you in to a $$$ monthly deal so I did the job my way combining two pictures with only hardware!
The Z/28 I had gone thru dumping the smog crap and installing the hot 1970 Chevy 370 HP L-T1 goodies on the 350 L-82 engine. It was wild running the Z/28 302 Off Road race cam but FUN!
And of course my sweet young bride was in great tune as well! We still going on at 51 years but sadly under different conditions and will bring this picture along when we enjoy a special lunch come Sunday September 6. Still have the 51 year old wedding cake decoration !

I use two apps that are absolutely free. They ask if you care to contribute, but no amount is set and it is not required.
If you choose to purchase it through Microsoft they will gladly take your money.

Paint.net is one I have used for years. If you buy it through Microsoft they want a fee. Use the dot/pdn button and it should be free.

GIMP is a more complicated program but is also free. There is a learning curve, but it will do a lot more than paint.net.

Agreed! GIMP can do pretty much everything and since it's open source, it's only going to get better. If you can overlook (disregard) the gazillions of photo adjustments that it can make and just find the few you'll use regularly, it's the best there is. It can do simple to complex photo editing. Simple can sometimes be hard to find. Thankfully, there are lots of video tutorials and how-to's.
