It's a free photo editing program and you can take a photo and resize it and reduce the
pixels so they load a lot faster. Some photos that folks load here my browser just shows
a link and won't display them as they are too big.

Yours did Hatch but it took a long time loading them.

I hear you Coop. I did find a setting on my phone that reduces the size of my photos but not enough. Interesting these pics above are about half the size as some I post but yep, they are still too large. I’m using Apple so I’ll try to find an Apple equivalent of what you posted. (Thanks for that BTW)

I have an iPhone 14 as well (iPhone 15 works the same). It takes pictures in only 1 size. You can change the size of the image in Preview. Any size you wish. Then, safe the small image in Photos again. A few steps, easy enough.
Here comes the kicker:
I try to place in line the reduced size image w/ the attachment feature, it's telling it cannot recognize the image size and recommends to check if the URL is correct!?

Yes, the iPhone 14 can change the setting in "camera" > "format" > it recommends to take pictures in "High Efficiency" in order to get a reduced file size (about 50% smaller file size). Image size for an iPhone 14 is always 4032 x 3024 pixels.

Same image original size, ready to "place inline", size reduced image, yellow triangle under status.
When I click on the triangle I get the error prompt, even though it reads 755 Kb.

I try to post pics around 300kb - 500kb. Big enough to see well, small enough to load easily

You are most likely on to something. I tried both format setting, even resized in my imaging software w/ the same outcome.
Maybe there is something in the iPhone meta data that corrupts the file.

I tried an image taken w/ my Nikon. The full size .jpeg load-ready to be placed inline, so is the size reduced image (reduced in my photo software).
You can see even the large 17.4 Mb file is ready, as well as the small file 943 Kb. I am at the end of my wisdom.

We just got back from Rochester, Mn where our Winnebago Journey is in the Freightliner shop. We had to get more of our stuff out of it. I was running out of underwear and she got tired of washing every other day so we brought it all home.

Good news, I was afraid the engine seized when the computer xxxx it down for overheating, but to move it they re-installed the drive shaft, (which is about a foot long), started it up and moved it. They said it ran OK but only for a brief time so as not to overheat it again.

They plan to get it into the shop tomorrow or Monday so we should have it back next week.

Too late to go see the Great Grand Kids though. They flew back to Alaska today.

Very cute Airstream! I’m sure restoration efforts require some level of skill.

As my polisher says “Anyone can do this. Results will vary”. Our projects are expensive, but not when you look at a new Airstream, and consider that you are getting a complete one off custom trailer built to your specs…

We’re staying at the Kettle Falls Campground, a NPS campground with a fantastic boat launch. It’s just south of the bridge. That antique store sounds like fun, is Crandall up your way?

Oh, I’ve been to the boat launch there, but not through the camping areas. It’s a nice spot! Crandall's is the coffee shop in the west side of the antiques building in KF.

Your pictures loaded up right away for me. I like that the new interiors are more “modern” now. The trend to have tribal flames or cavorting dolphins on the side and carried through to the interior has had its day (thankfully).
