Fair, 63°F, Humidity 94%
Wind Speed W 8 mph
Barometer 29.97 in
Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
I spent a lot of time yesterday weeding flower beds. We let them go because we were having
a new privacy fence installed around the pool area out back and figured they'd destroy them
anyway, but it's done and they didn't do too bad.

60 this morning heading to a miserable 93 later. Today is the last hot day for a while with tomorrow only 83 and some days in the 70’s after that. I’m fine with an early fall but I know better.

Yard work this morning before it heats up then some errands just to Deer Park in the hot afternoon. Tomorrow will be my first golf outing since my surgery. I did go to the range last week and hit a small bucket of balls. All was great but I have to remember to take it easy with my swing. We’re playing a course an hour north of my place so my buddies are meeting here and we’ll car pool. After golf we’re planning on hitting my patio for some cold Yuenglings.

Yuengling, touted to be the oldest brewery in the US is really good beer. If our trip to New York had not gone bad we planned on stocking up with some on the return trip. We can't get it here. Strange. :(

Barometer 30.06 in
Sunny, with a high near 81.
Light west northwest wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
We are going to travel an hour south top Rochester, Mn. this AM to clean out the
RV. They haven't got it in yet to diagnose it, but they say they will in a couple
more days. We just couldn't get all our stuff in the Bronco the first time.

We finished up a small job yesterday and won't start another until Monday.

Same here of course. I have a neighbor who travels back east from time to time and when he does he always offers to bring some back to me. His fault, he’s the one who introduced me to it.

59 heading only to the low to mid 80’s today. Much better than the mid to upper 90’s we’ve been suffering lately. Big cool down coming this weekend. Yippee for that I say.

73 (RealFeel 84) @ 7:30am on Thurs AUG 27th .... predicted high 86 followed by and overnight low of 70 .... highs in the 90's are forecasted to move back in on Monday and hang around for 5 days .... "a couple of heavy thunderstorms this afternoon; any downpour can cause temporary flooding on roadways and in poor drainage areas" ..... nothing on the calendar that would require us to leave home

69, high of 80. It pissed rain again last night. This year has been bizarre. We were in a drought, an honest one, as we left May and it got worse into July. A metaphorical switch was flipped, and it has pretty much rained or sprinkled every other day since. Not little rain, freakin downpours.

The clay of the yard and fields is too wet to mow without tearing up the turf. It's absolutely bizarre. Since January, I've mowed 4 times: 2 in late Feb, one as the drought started in April, and one a few weeks ago when it only sprinkled for 5 days straight.

Fair, 59°F, Humidity 88%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.16 in
Increasing clouds, with a high near 83.
Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

DeGrouse, we are in a similar situation only the switch has not flipped yet. We were putting in some
privacy fence and we can't tamp the posts in because down to 40 inches all there is is powder.
We need rain very badly.
I wasn't aware how bad it is until we did this.

54' and sunny this morning. Maybe 78' later. Every year it's been traditional for it to rain on or near the 1st of Sept. Prediction is the same for mid next week and much cooler, mid 60's. Guess I better start working on getting the firewood in. I've a pile sitting in the sun for a while now.
